The Bound Brook Cultural Art Committee  in conjunction with the Seward Johnson Atelier Organization of Hamilton Township,
NJ is excited to announce the installation of six life-like sculptures in and around the town of
Bound Brook, NJ. These sculptures can be found in front of some of the iconic buildings
around the historic town of Bound Brook and within its parks. The statues/sculptures depicting
everyday life, will be on display through the month of October 2021. Brochures describing the
statues and their location are available at the Borough Hall, Library, SID office on Mountain
Avenue, local businesses and online here. QR Codes are at each sculpture where pedestrians will be able
to scan with their Smart Phones and get even more information. Live concerts will be
scheduled at select locations during the coming weeks. Updates will be available on the BBCAC web page.
The Seward Johnson Atelier promotes the appreciation of art through public displays, such as
this one, and is committed to educating the public about his artistic legacy. During his 50 years
as a sculptor, Johnson made an impact on the landscape of public art. Today there are more
than 300 works in cast bronze in public areas, gardens, private collections, and museums
across the globe.
About The Bound Brook Cultural Arts Committee: the committee is made up of a group of
volunteers who are local artists and art appreciators. The team’s objective is to bring, promote,
and encourage the expression and appreciation of the visual, literary, and performing arts in
Bound Brook by utilizing and cultivating the rich diversity of talent available both within and to
Bound Brook. The committee was established in 2017 and is supported by the town’s Mayor
